Ooze

Ooze is the most basic form of Slime. It is seen in the form of splats or puddles and is usually not very intelligent. However, that doesn't mean that it's not dangerous, far from it. Oozes may be the most dangerous Slime of all! For example, you're walking along in a dungeon when you step in a puddle of green water, the next thing you know, your leg is gone! Another example in that same dungeon is you feel something drip on to your head. A second or so later… and you're not the life of the adventuring party anymore. Reviving someone who has been slimed is also very difficult because their bodies are dissolved. But these hardly mobile little puddles aren't where the danger of Oozes stops. Let's not forget about the most dangerous Ooze of all, THE BLACK PUDDING. Yup, that's an Ooze! It's mobile, it's viscious, and it's black. And there's plenty more puddings where that came from. So, be afraid…be VERY afraid.Oh, and don't forget that I said MOST Oozes aren't intelligent. There's a good chance that there ARE intelligent Oozes that could easily build colonies out of hardened mucus like goo. The most common form of mating for Oozes is division. Other types do tend to spread spores, and I'm sure that some of them preform sexual division.
