The Pilarcik Slime Classification System:
The above image is the fruit of much labor/wasted time/ignored babble in Mr.Rocco's U.S. History class.
With this Ven-Diagram you can classify ANY Slime. You see, Slimes fall into 3 different catagories:
Ooze:
A Slime with no defined form. Usually has little intelligence or defining features.
Blob:
A Slime that has a rounded ball-like appearance. Can come in many colors with varying strength and intelligence.
Form:
A Slime with a defined form. This species was origionally entitled "Slime Psuedo-Form", but was shortend into four letters so that it fit with the rest of the slime classes and is easier to remember. Forms usually have the most intelligence of any slime and can use weapons the easiest.
Every slime falls under either one of these 3 classes or a mix of them.
For example:
A puddle with a defining bubble, like the Babble from Dragon Warrior/Quest, is considered to be a combination of the Blob and Ooze classes. Ooze because of it's formless bottom, and Blob because of it's rounded top part, the bubble.
